Alluded to in the Images module, Object Styles are a terrific way to organize like elements in a book, making it simple to bulk edit those images, and to map them to the appropriate HTML tags. The sidebar in this screenshot has a grey background and some text wrap applied to it. If for example, there will be similar sidebars throughout this book, creating an object style to quickly apply to those frames is an efficient workflow.
Object styles can be used for all kinds of elements — images, illustrations, text boxes, etc. In this screenshot, the frame holding the caption is in a caption object style, and the image above is in a Three Keylines object style.
When we get to Edit all Export Tags, I will show you how to squeeze some juice out of these object styles. Using object styles rigorously is a good step to setting your ebook up for accessibility success.
