Hiya. a) In my experience, it’s not possible to script adding a page list retroactively. It can be done but it’s a manual, tedious process of inserting the page numbers at the point of the page break. That is, have the ebook code open, and a print PDF open to insert the numbers by hand — one by one. I’ve done it. It’s not fun, but it’s not the end of the world.

b) The InDesign engineers are working on including a page list in reflowable EPUB exports. They hope to have it soon but I am willing to bet good money that early implementations will be buggy.

c) I like the PageStaker script (but I’m partial, having created it). It’s far from perfect, but maybe this post will help you use it? https://laurabrady.ca/blog/building-a-page-list
