Any tips about how to manually create a pause in a screen reader's speech? thread

Hi all,

I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to get a screen reader to pause in its flow of speech, or to manually increase the silence between one word and the next.

Great topic!

Screen reader pauses usually work well with punctuation such as a period or a comma.
